Party in a Bag

I just wanted to remind everyone that on Tuesday our class will celebrate Valentine's Day with a Party in a Bag. Students should bring their valentines and Party in a Bag to school on Tuesday. We will have the party at 2:15.  Also, remember our classroom is nut free. Please do not send in any nut or peanut butter products.

Here are the directions for Party in a Bag...

Happy Valentine’s Day
Have you ever heard of a party in a bag? Well, in third grade that is how we celebrate Valentine’s Day. Instead of the traditional classroom party, the families create a goodie bag for their child. You can be as creative as you want while creating this Valentine for your child. Read on to learn more.

❤  Have your child decorate a lunch bag at home with paper, stickers, ribbon, etc. Feel free to use markers and construction paper to add details.
❤ Next, parents fill the bag with the following items:
❤One juice box or water bottle
❤One baked or store bought sweet treat
❤One healthy snack
❤One piece of wrapped candy
❤One fancy pencil (or other small trinket)
❤A Valentine note, poem, or short letter addressed to your child
Remember No Nuts!
The students will bring in their special bag the day of the party. Please keep the contents a secret.

On the back of this paper you will find a class list for the student to make or buy valentines for each of their classmates. Please do not include any candy with the valentines. Our class party will be on February 14th. This party is just for our class. Thank you so much for making this party special for your child!

If you need the class list please email me.
